Time Lapse Dance Workshop Jody Sperling May 28, 2014 Dance 1 Comment The science team aboard the Healy has been incredibly generous in giving me impromptu tutorials in such topics as sea ice composition, melt pond mathematics, ice algae bio-markers and zooplankton reproduction. In return, I had the opportunity to teach a workshop in “Time Lapse Dance” technique. We broke the ice (so to speak) by practicing bumping into each other — an inevitability with the ship’s motion and a quick exercise in Brownian motion. Along the way we enjoyed some shipboard spinning and ended the class by dancing with floating fabric. One Response Donglai Gong May 29, 2014 Looking good Frank! I look forward to the actual performance on ice. Reply Leave a Reply Cancel Reply Your email address will not be published. Name* Email* Website Comment Notify me of follow-up comments by email.
