What has been the most unusual thing you’ve seen on this voyage?

Wow! That’s a great question! There have been so many interesting and fascinating things!! I think the most unusual was the phytoplankton and zooplankton that were observed through the LOKI, the FLOWCYTOBOT, and under the microscope. These instruments show us organisms we can’t see with the naked eye.  Because these things are so very small, we might assume they’re not very interesting.  I found quite the opposite!  They are both visually and scientifically amazing!!
